As a Business Analyst at Picnic you understand what drives consumer behavior and operational
efficiency. You’ll glean actionable insights from large data sets – but your eyes won’t be glued to
data all day! You also offer entrepreneurial, realistic, and practical business opportunities.

What challenges await you

Drive implementation and improvement of projects from kick-off until the final whistle
• Design, implement and evaluate new business strategies
• Optimize tools, systems and business processes
• Come up with creative ideas to grow Picnic’s business

What you need

• Pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, industrial design engineering or similar.

• Get-up-and-go Mentality: Energy, motivation, and assertive attitude

• Quick Thinking: You identify issues and come armed with a solution
• Long-term Vision: Process-oriented and structured thinking

• Excel Wizard: Outstanding Excel and data analysis skills

• Mechanic’s Mind: A basic working knowledge of vehicles

• Composure: Ability to work under pressure and meet daily deadlines

• Responsibility: You’re confident and happy being the go-to-person

• 6 months, or more, to dedicate to this full-time operational role

• English proficiency, Dutch is a plus

• Pay attention: this is not a (thesis) graduation internship

What you need

• Completed Master’s degree in Mathematics, Econometrics, Engineering, Physics or an
equivalent quantitative study

• Freshly graduated or 1-3 years of working experience

• Excellent Excel and complex data analysis skills

• Desirable requirements: knowledge of SQL, Tableau, and Python

• Fluency in both verbal and written English
