Speaker: Joram van der Sluis 

In this second episode of the Asimov Podcast, we will peek behind the scenes at Lely, a company that fuses robotics into the lives of people working in agriculture. Joram van der Sluis was one of the first graduates from TU Delft robotics masters. He will tell us about how he got to where he is now: developing innovative robotics solutions at the R&D department of Lely. He also talks about how our robotics program is designed and the motivation behind it. 

Speaker: Martijn Wisse 

He is Professor of Biorobotics at the Department of Cognitive Robotics, at the Faculty of 3mE of TU Delft. In his research, he uses inspiration from biology to make robots move better. The emphasis is on dynamic movements, with applications from walking robots via robot arms and grippers to mobile robots. The podcast contains a dialogue with Amber (ASIMOV) and Martijn Wisse about his whereabouts and path to becoming a true roboticist. It contains talk about his academic career path and Martijn’s vision for the future of robotics.
